Still Under Attack!

What in the world is going on? This has been a question that has come to my mind more and more often. What is going to be the next attack on our Christian values? Today is the last day of March…the day before April Fool’s Day! What I just heard on ABC evening news surely, surely must be a pre-April Fool joke!

Bryan Williams reported on a new study…“The Controversy of Prayer: Does it really heal the sick?” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He reported, “ this study casts doubt on the ability of prayer to heal the sick”. Millions of dollars (our dollars, I might add) have been spent on this “new” study, resulting in the conclusion that “it is impossible to measure scientifically”. Well….DUH! What else is new?

People, how long are we going to allow this trash to be aired? How long are we going to passively sit back and accept having dung thrown at us? What to do? It appears that the world we’re living in gets darker and darker each day. There may not be much that we can actively do, but we can at least voice our opinions. It will have to be a younger generation than myself to be the activists….“the hub of the wheel“. But it will be up to us to be the spokes, supporting the hub.

God Bless us all!!

Jackie I've gotten where I do not listen to much new's or other junk on T.V.. It just makes me mad. Our country needs to get back to God. Mainly us a believers in our Lord need to stand up & be counted.

Way to go Jackie! Well said. Get in there and fight'em. I saw that in the newspaper and wanted to write a letter to the editor. He knows my bite from a letter I wrote him about his comments of the Passion film.

I believe if we keep writing we will eventully get enough attention to make a difference. I believe one person can make a difference: there's plenty of proof of that.

Keep blogging.

I want to see a study that measures the grace God gives in a persons life and not just whether or not he/she was healed. However, grace cannot be measured. I wrote on this same subject referencing a U.S. News and World Report on my daughter's blog http://livefromtheguillotine.typepad.com/weblog/
I thought it was interesting that you wrote on the same subject....interesting times we are living in...beautymaker
