Exhausted Repertoire

Monday mornings aren't that good for me. I'm not good at planning ahead and by the time Sunday night arrives, I've exhausted my repertoire of plans and good intentions. It takes me until noon on Tuesday to get my act together for the week.

As I was asittin' and astarin' over my first cup of coffee and mulling Monday over in my mind, I decided, first of all, I want to have a different post on my blog for my dedicated readers. Like all bloggers, I have a few that read it every single day, some that check it every two or three days, and then I have the once a month readers.

It's really funny about people and their reading habits. Those that read every few days, weekly, or occasionally, only read the most current post...and, that's it! If it happens to be an inane, simple, non-descript, uninteresting post, I guess they consider all are like that. Often, there are some really good, interesting 'slices of life' that are missed.

Well, readers, if you're catching my blog today, it's one of "those" days! I was browsing my pictures and found a folder with "hubs stuff". I remember him coming in one day, asking for the use of the camera to take pictures of some of his good stuff that he might want to sell.

So, today, we'll play the guessing game.

What the heck is this?
Now that the games have begun, I wish for all of you a good Monday, with the hopes that it doesn't take you as long to get 'geared up' as it does me!

It's an industrial-sized ventilation shaft joint. That's all I could come up with.

Good morning. On the photo, could be a vent motor casing, a concrete mixer shuttle, a base for a washer, or NOTA [none of the above]. Have a fine TEXAS evening.

crabby: You've been around this guy too many years! Good stuff? Well...to each his own!

tricia: You're pretty creative...or knowledgeable! Sounds like you might know something about 'ventilation shaft joints'!

chikenherder: Talk about creativity! Have you been to Luckenbach in the past few years?

cfs: I can tell you've seen a lot of 'stuff' in your career! That's the kind of stuff hubs likes to have around!

lost in lubbock: you should know!!

janie: You get the gold star for the cutest, most creative answer!! I LOVE it! You're a true Texan.

Thanks to all of you who played this ridiculous guessing game. Stuff like this has been the 'story of my life with hubs'. When I showed him the picture and asked him about it, he started 'guessing'. I said, "But it's YOUR's..you've got to know what it is". O.K. When I showed him all the other pictures he took, he said..."OH! Yeah! that is a shipping container I got from army surplus. I converted it into a hog waterer!" Go figure...
