All She Wants For Christmas is a Bagel

I promise! This will be my last holiday post...until the New Year! This year has been unique in that we've had two celebrations; our 50th anniversary and Christmas all rolled into one.

These two little munchkins were the *stars* of Christmas Morning. Here they are, sitting at the top of the stairs waiting for Mom and Dad to tell them to come down.

It is so much fun to see the anticipation and excitement in their faces.

The Little Princess Munchkin had been telling her Pop how much she wanted a puppy for Christmas....just like Butch!! But she knew that a puppy wasn't under the tree. She convinced Pop that if she got a box of puppy treats for a gift, that Mom and Dad would "give in".

She kept telling him, "I want a bagel....just like Butch!!"

Poor Butch! Exhausted from all the excitement.
How could a Pop refuse a request like that? So here she is, with her gift of puppy treats for the bagel she hopes to get!!

Actually, I like reading all your Christmas stories, so, keep them coming. Have a nice TEXAS weekend and a productive 2008.

That was adorable! My girls convinced their Poopsie to get them a Guinea Pig because they just knew their dad would let them take it home once he bought it.

Pablo the Guinea Pig now happily lives with my mom and dad. I hope the 'bagel' request goes a little better!

So cute - the look of anticipation on her face at the top of the stairs, and then the hope for the bagel.

What a gorgeous post!
