Things We Overlook...

Normally, we do not so much look at things as overlook them. — Alan Watts.

Great words, worth remembering. I visited Buffalo's blog (worth a visit) today and his post made me remember some words a friend gave to me.
LIFE IS NOT A RACE
BUT A JOURNEY TO BE SAVOURED
EACH STEP OF THE WAY
YESTERDAY IS HISTORY
TOMORROW IS A MYSTERY
AND TODAY IS A GIFT.
I will place your words in the same pocket in my mind that I keep these.

My favorite quote came from a math teacher from my high school day's
" WHITE UR LOST AS A BLIND DOG IN A MEAT HOUSE" Author Earl Blankenship

Is this a test? to see what we see? I am so guilty of being in such a hurry to get to the "next" project that I don't see half what is in front of me. (Better be careful if you see me on the highway)

LOL Wilma! :)

I believe I overlook a lot. I need to take more time to smell the roses.

crabby: Were you really? or was that just Mr. Blankenship's opinion?

wilma: Yes, it's a test! Tell me what you see!! You probably don't see anything....and, I'll be careful!!

gayle: Isn't Wilma a hoot? She probably didn't see the rain drops on the leaves!! LOL

eve: We all do! I've tried to improve my observation skills...

That is such a beautiful picture. I love the combination of green and water - 2 of my favourite things and they soothe my soul.
