Teach the Children...

Today my life picks up.

Every Tuesday afternoon from today until May, I, along with many other volunteers, will be involved in the after-school children's ministry of our community.

This effort ministers to children from birth through 3rd grade. Emphasis is upon learning about our Creator and His plan for our lives. Along this journey, these children learn important life skills of sharing, a Christian way of settling disputes, getting along with each other, having respect for others and just as importantly, respect for themselves.

Life is tough. Children in today's world begin learning this at a very early age. Regardless of what some say and truly believe, our world has changed dramatically, even as early as the past decade. I hear people say...."Things are the same as they've always been. We just hear more about it because of the instant influx of news." Not true! Morality has changed. Integrity has changed. Respect has changed. Acceptance of all these issues has changed.

Hiz Kiz reaches across denominational lines and focuses on unity of Christians.

Having this commitment for the rest of the year will help me re-focus the priorities of life. Yes, politics is important. ( I've been obsessed in recent months) But when our spiritual lives are in order, it makes these other issues more tolerable.

Maybe it would benefit our political figures to go to Hiz Kiz!

Peace to your household...

You're right, Inspired. Many things have changed and not for the better. What you are doing is so important. God bless you for doing it! We must turn this society around and there's no better way to start than with the children and their upbringing. The public schools have done a lot of damage since the liberals have invaded!

Bless you. :)

PS: Feeling a bit better and did put up a new post.
