I Feel Good!

Thanksgiving week is past and we had a great time with those of the family that could be here. One grand daughter, and a grandson/wife couldn't come. They just don't know what they missed! But we've reached that point in life where it's almost impossible to get everyone together at the same time.

The weather was beautiful and the visiting canines (previous post) were great. They all got along fine and enjoyed each other. There was one more here that I didn't get a picture of; a Bichon Frise called Snuggles that belongs to the two young grandchildren. She had to leave before pictures of the dogs were taken! I'll get her at Christmas!

We had plenty to eat! And we played much of this:

The "icing on the cake" was that Thanksgiving day was also "my birthday"! And here I am receiving birthday hugs from the little ones!

Two other specials I received: a musical birthday card from a sister; James Brown singing
"I Feel Good!" (first musical card I've ever received and it DID make me feel good!)

And the other special was a text message from another sister wishing me a good day. This was special because she NEVER sends text messages!!

If you are very observant, I've made the number change on my profile; so my age is definitely not a secret! I'm o.k. about this one, but I'm not sure how I'll feel about the one next year!

Now, we're moving right along into December and the reason for the season.

Peace to your household...

Happy birthday. What a great way to spend the day - surrounded by people you love celebrating.

Here's to another year of growth and inspiration.

ha ha ..... looks like memories were made ... and mothers/grandmothers were honored. Nothing better than that!

You look younger than your age, so that's quite alright! :-)

Memories, like the corner of my mind....isn't it fun making them?
