"The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
Have you ever heard this expression?
I had good intentions of publishing a birthday post for Grand Daughter's 21st Birthday but busy-ness got in the way and I didn't get it done. My intention was to give some background on the gift her Pop and I are going to give her; and post pictures of our gift to her.
As far as I know, Hannah never reads my blog but I got to thinking..."sure as I do this, she is going to click on For Love of Home expecting her birthday post. And, as it turned out, her dad had informed her of the pending birthday post, so she surely would have!!
Her gift will be late, but in our family, that has become a norm. Nothing is on time.
So, Hannah! This is Happy Birthday. You are now of legal age. And, as far as I've been hearing about research on the brain, you're brain is now fully developed. (This is supposed to be funny....so LAUGH!)
We hope to see you before long and give you, in person, something that we hope you will cherish all the days of your life....well...maybe until you see fit to give it to your daughter on her 21st birthday.
We love you and pray God will bless you and keep you in the shelter of His arms.
