How long has it been since you've seen clothes drying in the sun?
On a clothes line, or better still...on a fence?
This is reminiscent of times in the past before electric conveniences like modern clothes dryers.
If wet clothes are left in a basket for any length of time, you know what happens. They sour, they mildew, they get stinky. There's nothing like a good drying by solar power!
As cranky humans go, this is what happens to our hearts, our attitudes of "I'm the right one; everyone else is wrong". Our hearts get "stinky" and begin to mildew.
Maybe we need a good solar drying. Hang those things on a fence and be dried out by God's own solar power...his Son.

I hang my clothes on the fence because Crabby hasn't built me a clothesline,& because overalls sounds like hail on the roof in the dryer. You are right. I need to hang my attitude on the fence too. P.S. Wrote this before I saw the picture. This clothesline looks very familiar!!!! I like the sunshine better than the dryer & saves energy.
CRABBY'S BOSS
My BRIDE is right she needs to hang HER attitude concrning me on the line to dry. I knew right off where the picture was taken when I saw the skid marks on my BRIDE drawers.
LOVE IT!
I do not know of anyone over here that does not have a washing line in there back garden....
I only ever use me tumble drier in the winter if it rains for days on end.....
Thats what I found strange the times Ive been to the states.... no one seems to hang there washing out to dry and they always use their tumble driers.... more money then sense if ya ask me :)

o my, don't get me started. there isn't enough fence line
I'm guilty of using the dryer. I like the fact that the clothes come out softer, but I do know a few people who hang their clothes out on clotheslines. If Cap and Trade passes in the senate next week, their may be scads more people hanging out their wash to save on electricity, including myself.
Thinking of you - hope all is well - know you are loved..

Here's wishing you a wonderful Independence Day, Jackie. God bless you and yours and may the entire weekend be wonderful.
I have turned on comments on Blasting Caps and Dynamite, hon, but commenters will have to register. I think it may help keep down the idiot trolls. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed!)
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!!
Just popped over to get the washing in off the line and the fence..... DONT expect me to iron it for ya though :)
