Maintaining Sanity

Last Sunday morning, my sister who has worked for Sam's Club for at least 8 years, was called into a 7:00 a.m. meeting, along with the whole group of the demo department. They were all given their "walking papers".

As it happened, over 11,000 employees of Sam's are now unemployed and 10 stores across the nation closed. If I understand correctly, this action is not due to an economic problem but one of "restructuring".

Hell's Bells!!

In spite of her early morning "canning from Sam's", my sister remained in good spirits during our short visit. Her first "command" was that we give ourselves a honey facial. She had previously tried it and said it made your skin soooo smooth! After all, when Esther was being groomed to be Xerxes queen, didn't she go through several months of grooming...with milk and honey baths?

No...we're not grooming for any Queenship; just trying to preserve our sanity by having a good time!

My only regret is that I didn't have my glasses on my face so that we would look more like twins!!
