Tail Gates in Munday!

It has turned out to be a really nice afternoon. The wind is finally calm, and the sun is shining brightly. On nice days here in Munday, the neighborhood guys meet in the street for a little verbal exchange. More often than not, they wind up sitting on a bench, watching the world go by….or, in our case, watching Munday go by. If not a bench, the tail gate of a pick up will suffice. Local problems are solved, the State’s problems are solved, the Nation’s problems are solved, the World’s problems are solved. All of the answers are available but there’s no one to ask the questions. No wonder everything is in such a mess!! No one asks the questions!!
The pictures were taken through a window so they're not as clear and bright as they would be if they had been taken outside. But, knowing the two guys who are the 'tail-gaters' of our neighborhood, I'm sure they would have put up a fuss about being photographed!!
Here they come! Ready for a time of 'jawin' Settlin' in for a visit!

Just a sittin' and a swingin' (those feet!)

Many an hour is passed by this interchange of ideas, thoughts, gripes, and concerns. But this is life in the small town of Munday. We're thankful that this is still a characteristic of rural America! God Bless until next time!
