Happy Birthday to Me!
No….it’s not the date of my birth but the date of my blogging adventure….one year ago today when I made my first “trial” post. What an adventure it has been! Two years ago, if anyone had told me I would be blogging, I would have said, “What in the heck is blogging”? Just eight years ago I couldn’t have told you what the “www” stood for in an internet address. “I’ve come a long way, baby!”
When I began my blog, I used the title “My Hometown”. I was still a little skeptical of world wide web and was reluctant to reveal my location. After a few months of “My Hometown”, I began to be a little more adventuresome and changed it to “Munday, Texas: My Hometown.” I didn’t see any use of being proud of my home if I didn’t let it be known that it was Munday. After a few more months, I realized that NOT EVERYONE reading my blog would ever live in Munday, and some would never know where it is located. So….I re-named it again to “Love for Home”…hoping to instill the love of home for readers, wherever that might be.
I don’t know whether I’m fulfilling that goal or not. Hopefully, I am. I have read something, someplace.. (I’ve got to find it again) where blogs can be published in book form. I would like to do this for my grand children sometime in the future. I think that would be a worthwhile gift.
What do you think?

I think the book is a great idea. Anything written for grandchildren would be cherished forever. "When someone dies it's like a library burning." Keep blogging...you're an encouragement to me! sis from the usa Oh..and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
