You Had Me From Hello

In the middle of a heat enveloped day, we went to a wedding! In recent months, we’ve been swamped with funerals and it was so refreshing and touching to experience a happy occasion. It was a very simple, but elegant ceremony. Both the bride and groom have had a previous marriage and they each have grown children. It was wonderful to see the compatibility between the families. I think everyone attending got a little ’teary-eyed’, especially as they gave their personal commitment to each other.


I am so thankful that God allows us to have “do-overs“…not only in marriage, but in all the other ways that we, as humans, can mess up our lives. There’s not a living soul that hasn’t messed up by making poor choices. We all need a “do-over” at one time or another.


They chose Kenny Chesney’s recording of “You Had Me From Hello” as one of the musical selections. Well….this happens to be one of my all-time favorites. It alone can make me teary eyed!
