I am so thankful that God allows us to have “do-overs“…not only in marriage, but in all the other ways that we, as humans, can mess up our lives. There’s not a living soul that hasn’t messed up by making poor choices. We all need a “do-over” at one time or another.
They chose Kenny Chesney’s recording of “You Had Me From Hello” as one of the musical selections. Well….this happens to be one of my all-time favorites. It alone can make me teary eyed!
Click on the midi link and listen to the music as you read the words. You may even know the song well enough to sing along. I’ve tried singing to midi’s and I always get lost!

You Had Me From Hello
Kenny Chesney
One word, that's all was said,
Something in your voice called me, turned my head.
Your smile captured me, you were in my future as far as I could see.
And I don’t know how it happened, but it happens still.
You ask me if I love you, if I always will.........
Well, you had me from "Hello".
I felt love start to grow the moment I looked into your eyes,
You won me, it was over from the start.
You completely stole my heart, and now you won't let go.
I never even had a chance, you know?
You had me from "Hello".
Inside I built a wall so high around my heart,
I thought I'd never fall.
One touch, you brought it down.
Bricks of my defenses scattered on the ground,
And I swore to me that I wasn't going to love again.
The last time was the last time I'd let someone in,
Well, you had me from "Hello"
I felt love start to grow the moment I looked into your eyes,
You won me, it was over from the start.
You completely stole my heart, and now you won’t let go.
I never even had a chance you know?
You had me from "Hello"
That’s all you said.
Something in your voice calls me, turns my head.
You had me from "Hello".
You had me from "Hello".
Girl, I've loved you from "Hello"

THIS FIT'S HOW I FELT WHEN I MET MY BRIDE & I FEEL THIS WAS PROBABLY HOW THE BIG GUY FELT WHEN HE MET YOU.
Oh, we hated missing the wedding! I bet it was special - and a lot of fun! Hubby was looking forward to it - after a season of funerals! But as you know we left town to attend a FUNERAL instead of the wedding!
We are glad all the details worked out for them. We hated to mess things up just days before the ceremony.
