Labor Day Week-End

Friday, we took a road-trip to see our daughter, her husband, and two of their three children. They have recently purchased a home and wanted us to see it 'first-hand'. We had looked at it on the realtor's web site but wasn't quiet prepared for what we saw.

Our kids work hard, long hours to provide their family with the best they can offer. The "boss" (lol) of the family comes from a long line of farmers. This is his second year to farm and it seems like everything has gone his way. They have had great luck with the crops. Well....not all luck. I've already said that they are hard workers, and God has blessed them greatly.

Our daughter is a financial consultant for Brown-Root and commutes to/from Houston with her job. It is also required of her to travel internationally which is quiet stressful for her dad and mom.

We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them the very best in their new/old home. This will more than likely be the last move they will make, for they have made many.

This is the back view of their place from the highway that runs to the north of them.

View from the back patio.

A close-up of the 'fish pond'.

The indoor pool.

Their house is a tri-level house. This is the stairway going to the third level. Three bedrooms, two baths, and a family room are on the third level.

Another view.

On the first level (of which I failed to get pictures) are the Master bedroom/bath, kitchen, dining area, breakfast nook, utility room/bath, three car garage, patio.
