I Have a Friend

I have a friend.

I don’t know her name and I can only guess at her approximate age. But she’s my friend. I know her only as “Sis From the USA”, which is her display name on her blog, our only method of communication.

I know she is a young mother with much to do. She doesn’t post often but when she does, it always warms my heart.

Most of the readers of my blog are of the age where they’ve already gone through the experiences that Sis talks about….the excitement of just being alive, her extended family, buying a house….and, most and greatest of all, the baptism of her husband.

She mentions in her recent post, the baptism of her husband, and says “I know, I know, this is only interesting if you're in my family.” I would like for Sis to know that though I’m not of her immediate or extended family I rejoice in her husband being added to the Kingdom of our Lord. That makes him my brother...and I've always wanted a brother!!
