Foraging: To obtain by hunting or searching about.
That's what I've been doing.
Foraging.
I wasn't inspired this morning to post anything so I started checking out the usual blogs.
I have stated in previous posts that I'm completely satisfied with where I am in life. There is no point to which I would like to return.
But this morning, in reading the current post of Busy With The Boys, I decided that if there was one thing I could change about my past, it would be the access to home computers and blogging!
I know without a doubt that if I had experienced the sharing of ideas, problems, tragedy, happy times, unhappy times, and the multitude of other emotions and conflicts of life, with other understanding people, I would have had a richer, more abundant life.
Young writers have a vast opportunity that was unheard of in my younger years. Relationships are built among complete strangers, reaching out for advice, giving advice when needed, and obtaining unconditional friendship and love.
Even as God was admonishing the Israelites when He said in Isaiah 43:18-19 to "forget the past, look to the future...I have a new life for you (paraphrased); He knew right then of the coming of a technological computer age that would revolutionize his kingdom.
I pray that God keeps the fingers of these young people nimble and their minds clear so that they can continue reaching out, touching, and changing lives.

What a glorious post. I love that I have friends around the world, and I get to share their lives, and learn about our differences. I wish it was something I had earlier, but I appreciate having it now.
Yes God would know , even me a old man in his dotage would discover the powers of the Internet. Some My old redneck buddies knowing how dumb I am can not believe I own a computer plus can turn it on.
God is good ,all the time
Hey, thanks for the plug of my blog. It is intresting with what I come up with in the middle of the night.
tim: Glad you agreed with me!! And, I do appreicate having it now. It has "enlarged my territory" (from the Prayer of Jabez)
crabby: I think we've both done well to learn as much as we have (considering our dotage...haha!)
neecie: That's what it's all about...supporting each other. And "middle of the night" is the best time...our minds are less cluttered and more receptive.
i love blogging...and I, too, wish I'd happened upon it earlier!
I am SO HAPPY that we met...
you me and Crabby!!

We would make good "Three Musketeers"!! No....it would have to be FOUR cuz we'd HAVE to include Matthew!!
When the internet was young, I heard a statement I never forgot; "This could bring about the end of the world, through the swapping of weapons knowledge, or it could be the start of world peace through better communication"...
Buff: Thanks for sharing that comment. Being the peace lover that I am, I prefer to think the latter but it sure looks "iffy"! Maybe I'm becoming too callous. But I'll hang firm with blogging friends as long as we're able to generate thought and type.
