Home Again...

Well....the Lord was willing and the creeks didn't rise, and we made it home just fine.

I got my visit with my sister and Hubs got all his business completed. The only thing that we didn't get done because of a time crunch is to go by UMC and visit with the Thompsons for a few minutes. Oh, and another person Hubs was planning to see in Littlefield didn't work out. He went by the church and to the house and didn't find a soul. Maybe next time.

It has rained this morning. Praise the Lord!! No storm, no wind, no hail...just a nice rain.

Speaking of hail...on our way home, the S-I-L called from Seminole. Tuesday night, they received baseball size hail. Skylites in their home shattered, windshield on his pickup shattered, and I won't talk about the crops.

Al, to cheer you up, when I read this I thought of you. Sounds a lot like something you would dream up:

A young woman was taking an afternoon nap. After she woke up, she told her husband, "I just dreamt that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine's Day. What do you think it means?"

"You shall know tonight," he said. That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife.

Delighted, she opened it. She found a book entitled "The Meaning of Dreams."

Well...until I come up with something a bit more inspirational, what you've read is what you get for the day.

Don't fail to be thankful for your blessings and I wish you peace...

Glad to see that you made it home just fine. Nice to know you had some nice gentle rain too. Poor SIL though - how frustrating.
