Pop 'teaching a lesson' on peach tree borers and resin!!

Ali always has a grin!

On with the story.
The Great Patriarch of this Family Gathering couldn't wait until the youngest of the grandchildren arrived. The little peach tree was loaded and ready to be picked. He is a great memory builder and was sure that picking peaches would be a great memory for the little "city slickers".
Thursday morning early, he called them to get ready....they were going to pick peaches!
As they were getting ready to go out into the backyard, little Ali asked,
"How do you know which ones to pick?"
Pop's reply was "Just pick the ones that are ripe."
Ali turned around to older brother and said, "Len....just pick the ones that are ripe"!
Len's reply, "Oh, Ali! You don't even know what ripe means!".
Well....being accustomed to brother's "high-handed" remarks, she and Pop started outside.
As they were walking out the door, Len turns to his mother and says, "Mom.....what does ripe mean???"
Now, isn't that just like male mentality??

Yep, that's exactly like a man's mentality! LOL!
I imagine you're not in the pictures because you're the one who takes them. That's the way it is around here.
crabby: I'm the pretty face behind the camera...ALWAYS!
tim: But can't they be sweethearts when they're on their best behavior!!
Mel: Yes...we have that one small peach tree. And, with care, produces really good peaches. We eat as many as we can...right off the tree and freeze the rest for peach cobblers. ENVIOUS?? I've seen all the beautiful pictures of flowers and shrubs on your blog. I don't have all of those!! Glad you stopped by.
gayle: As I told crabby...I'm the pretty face behind the camera!! (lol)
