Vote!

Though my blog is not one of a political nature, I have taken this election season to heart. I have realized the importance of electing the very best to our national offices of leadership. The outcome of this critical time affects us all and our love for home.

So, like crabby old man , this will be my last post until after our election.

I believe political pundits nation wide have done their best to persuade voters. This is democracy in action. Then it is the responsibility of you and me to study the issues, the candidates involved, and decide exactly what direction our nation needs to move.

I have spent months doing exactly this. I've watched every rally, listened to every debate, gone to creditable websites to study the issues , and have read unbiased political blogs.

At this writing, an old Christian hymn keeps swirling around in my mind....

"I know who I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.”

Come what may...God will prevail. Bless His Name!

God Bless each of you and God Bless the USA!

I'll vote in about 3 hours ... I'll vote as conservative as possible in all elections both state and national. I haven't given up hope that most Americans will do the same. And you are right, God will still be in charge no matter what happens.

I read a priest's blog - a "priest" mind you - who said God had abandoned us!!! I couldn't believe it! God never abandons us, but he did give us free will. It's never His fault when people don't use it correctly.

Good post. God bless you!
