Bones...

If you belong to any organization, regardless of what it is, you will find this little item to be very familiar.

Are you one of the bones? If so, I hope it's the Back Bone.

"Four Bones"

The body of any organization has four bones:

1. Wish bones, who spend all their time wishing someone else will do all the work;

2. Jaw Bones, who do all the talking and very little else;

3. Knuckle Bones, who knock everything that everybody else tries to do;

4. Back Bones, who get under the load and do all the work.
Peace to your household and to ALL organizations!

Bone to pick
(A). A sop to Cerberus. A lucrative appointment given to a troublesome opponent in order to silence him. Thus Chisholm Anstey was sent to Hong-Kong as a judge to keep him away from the House of Commons Of course the allusion is to throwing a bone to a dog barking at you.

“In those days the usual plan to get rid to an oratorical patriot in the House was to give him `a bone to pick.' ” —Anthony Collins.

I have a bone to pick with you. An unpleasant matter to settle with you. At the marriage banquets of the Sicilian poor, the bride's father, after the meal, used to hand the bridegroom a bone, saying, “Pick this bone, for you have taken in hand a much harder task.”

This old man, he played nine.
He played knick-knack on my spine.
With a knick-knack, paddy whack,
Give a dog a bone.
This old man came rolling home.

I could've posted the entire song, like seven in heaven, but I thought the on my spine was more applicable.

This post just depressed me cuz I'm out of town and cannot give my dog a bone. LOL

I'd be surprised if I even break even in the 100 percentile.
