Memorial Day, 2010. The day we honor and remember our beloved military who gave their lives in defense of our country. May our country NEVER forget!
Because of our deceased military and their valor, we have the freedom to take a break from mowing our yards and having a cup of coffee on our front porch.
And, the "leader of the pack" since we lost our beloved Butch, the Beagle, the hubby who is still a firm believer in Downy drier sheets to shoo away the mosquitoes. Frankly, I'm too vain to doll myself up with the dryer sheets...regardless of how many mosquitoes are swarming!
We've taken a so-called break, but I doubt that we'll do more today. The heat and humidity is too much for us older folks to bear. Come 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and we'll hit it again!
So I leave you on this beautiful but HOT Memorial Day with...

I to honour your military just as much as I honour ours, fighting for the same reasons........ PEACE....
