Sighs...

I don’t want “For Love of Home” to die, though it looks like it has a serious ailment. I am so hoping that one day soon my inspiration for continuing this journal will be returned to me.

Living life is hard. I don’t know how non-believers find the strength to face and to cope with the hardships that living life bring. It’s difficult enough to face the problems even though you know there is a God who knows, who cares, who loves, and who hears.

I have recently given in to a lot of “sighing”. Hubby hears and wants to know “what’s wrong”. My reply is always …”nothing”. Even in my sighing, I haven’t realized it is a call to God to hear me.
Recently, this scripture was revealed to me to make me understand my sighing.

Psalm 5 (NIV)
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my sighing.

2 Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.

3 In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.

I think the “sighs” are the multitude of requests I have for the needs of family, friends, and our nation. I just can’t name them all and call them up to God one by one. I’m so thankful to God who is all powerful, all present, and all knowing.

Blessings to all who read this entry on this serious ill blog. It is part of my “sighs” and I’m waiting in expectation for the resurgence of inspiration.

Jackie, your posts have all been good & things a lot of us relate to. I feel much the same as you do & am sure there are others who feel the same. You do inspire us. Sometimes we don't even know what to ask God for, but the Holy Spirit can intervene for us & interpret our sighs. Remember, you are a blessing to a lot of us. GLENDA

Well...we can know this...that Jesus is interceding at the right hand on our behalf with ALL the words we fail to utter.

You are a light to me!

Seems like I have been where you are today,,,,I got words of encouragement from none other than you........I still haven't gotten over the lost empty feelings I had at that time but, I'm better..You will prevail...also...Time is a great healer....God is in his heaven and all's right with the world. Your must remember this. He also answers pray,,,in his time,,,,but when he closes one door he opens another that you might be able to bear it.... I think I have taken a couple of verses out of context, but you get the Idea..Stay well,,and when bad thoughts come on you push them out of your mind and remember who is on your side....
