To Give Unbridled Worship
I wonder what would happen in our churches today
if our knowledge of God was increased.
I wonder what would happen in our churches today
if our knowledge of God was increased.
Oh, I believe the Holy Spirit would cause an explosion
where the power of God is released.
What if our time in the Word wasn't merely contained
to what was offered in church every week.
Then, I know we'd be changed...and never be the same
by the words of the God that we seek.
What if at our church meetings, we placed highest regard
on God's will...as our most Honored Guest.
Then I believe all our ministries, missions and outreach
would bear His name to prove they are blessed.
What if we re-trained our minds, till we come to see prayer
as the preface for all that we do.
Oh, I believe we'd be humbled...then God could speak to us
and His glory would come shining through.
What if our pre-conceived notions of how church services should go
were somehow moved to the side or erased.
Then the Spirit of God would know the service is His
and there wouldn't be dry eyes in the place.
And if we'd come to realize we're not just "going to church"
but meeting God where He says He will be,
Then we'd flock in the doors to give unbridled worship
to the King that our hearts fully see.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house,
And the place where Your glory dwells.
Psalm 26:8
Psalm 26:8
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11-12

Enjoyed the post,it's not the lost that's causing alot of the turmoil ,it's the lack of concern & commitment of the followers of Christ. have a nice day just sitting here on the porch.
Chikenherder
I understand that porch sitting is a favorite past time of the 'elderly'.
