Sunday Sermon: The One You Feed

Today, we leave for the Hub of the South Plains of Texas.

It's time for the make-up appointment that Hubs had to re-schedule three weeks ago; plus additional dental appointments. All of this commences at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Sister, beware! We are on our way.

I apologize to you readers who don't have a clue as to what I mean in half of what I write. If you're not a regular reader, you've probably missed the post that would explain the previous comment about "sister, beware". Oh well....dismiss it and read on.

This will be the last post until midweek but I couldn't leave without leaving with you a Sunday Sermon.

Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his
grandson about a battle that goes on
inside people. He said, 'My son, the
battle is between two 'wolves' inside
us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy,
sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love,
hope, serenity, humility, kindness,
benevolence, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.'
The grand son thought about it for a
minute and then asked his grandfather:
'Which wolf wins?'
The wise old Cherokee simply replied,
'The one you feed.'
