Happy Birthday, Melissa!
It seems only yesterday that our friends were sitting you in the middle of the table and feeding you candy if you would say "Bun-bun". (Only you will know the real name! and, I'll bet he's smiling down from Heaven and remembering the same time...)
It's difficult to believe that you had to be bribed to talk.
And look at the "talking" you have to do now, in the career that you've chosen.
Happy 45th!
We love you...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA. I STILL REMEMBER WHEN IN ANTON YOU WOULD COME TO OUR HOUSE & YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO BRIBED TO TALK. U WERE A HONEY THEN & STILL ARE ONE.
I don't know Melissa but happy birthday to her anyway. She sure is pretty! :)
Inspired, you and I are almost the same age. It's great to find another woman in her sixties on the internet. Most of the people who visit me are half my age or younger. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just that it's nice to see someone else my age blogging. Many people our age are intimidated by computers. My husband is always afraid that if he messes with the pc he'll break something! LOL!
crabby: You're right. She hasn't changed a lot through the years. Still the same, sweet girl you knew as a youngster.
gayle: I don't guess I go into enough detail when it comes to posting about "real" people. I never know how much information to reveal of which they'll be comfortable putting on www. We have two daughters, Michelle and Melissa. Mel is the younger.
I, too, am pleased to find an active blogger nearer my age. I don't write about politics on my blog but I'm highly interested...as of the past couple of years. It seems as if our world is changing at lightning speed. Thanks for your comments...
