We're not great in getting out of our routine. So, naturally, H and I aren't great at travelling. The most we do are infrequent trips to see our children and grand children, and a few close friends. I had much rather do my travelling vicariously, through the eyes, ears, pictures and stories of others.
Before I leave the subject of New York, I want to share just a few pictures of the trip made by my sister and her husband. I appreciate her sharing. I'm sure she has oodles and oodles of other pictures but I know this would be "old hat" for several of my readers who live in the New York area.

This may strike you as a bit strange, but as much traveling as my hubby and I have done, we've never been to New York City, although we have been in upstate NY. As a Texan I can assure Crabby Old Man that NYC is not a county in Texas! LOL!
I've been to Niagra Falls though, and pretty near every state in this country with the exception of Alaska. I too would rather travel vicariously because I've done so much of it all my life. I've turned into a homebody. :)
